Payments Business Analyst (Online Commercial Banking/Payments BA - BACS/SWIFT/SEPA/Faster Payments BA).
Senior Business Analyst required for leading global bank.
Electronic payments product experience is ESSENTIAL of any electronic payments systems such as BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, Euro1, Target2, VOCALINK, GPP etc (low volume high value or high volume low value) for this role.
Candidates with a proven background in cash management/cash and trade systems would also be of interest.
You must also have a solid background in Business Analysis, from requirements gathering and stakeholder interaction to chairing workshops and process improvement.
A strong understanding of varied methodologies (UML/RUP etc) would be a distinct advantage, as would any exposure to project management disciplines.
You will be the key senior interface between the business and technology units on a major multi-million pound programme, acting as a lead/managing BA with up to 5 direct reports (this is NOT a pure Project Management position).
Previous leadership is not essential but would be advantageous. Working as part of an internal consultancy to the business clients, you will be involved in the early stages of major, varied and challenging programmes of work in a huge and complex environment.
A strong technical understanding is also expected. There are excellent opportunities to progress with this role, with multiple challenging largescale projects to work on.
