Due to business expansion several vacancies have arisen within the Finance and IT recruitment arms of Anson McCade for a head-hunter/consultant. This is an exciting post for a dynamic, tenacious individual who is very professional, career minded and money driven. You will have a strong interest in banking and finance or IT. The ideal candidate will have also have a good degree or be of solid graduate calibre.
We are looking for confident, bright individuals with an excellent telephone manner who are keen to join a young, lively and rapidly expanding IT and Finance headhunting recruitment firm. Money motivated, success oriented and with a non-pc sense of humour, you will NOT be looking for a typical 9-5 job but the opportunity to progress at a fast pace and benefit from full on-going training within a dynamic and dedicated environment. We offer a competitive base salary (up to £26,000 for trainees) plus a one of the best commission structures in the City (up to 40%) with uncapped final earnings, in addition to incentives and rewards schemes. Initially you will be required to develop your call technique by speaking to a large number of candidates and, through networking, begin to form your own high quality candidate portfolio. You will work closely with senior consultants to fill client requirements. As you progress so too will the number and variety of roles you will be expected to work and, if desired, you will move onto dealing directly with clients also. We work across all skill sets within IT (development: C++, Java, .net, Delphi; databases: oracle, Sybase, SQL Server; project and program management; etc.) and although no previous knowledge or experience is required (or expected) any related experience you can offer would be a plus and will help you to progress at a faster pace. Any sales background is likely to be beneficial.
Duties will include scouring the market for the very best candidates to meet the requirements of our clients, which include major international banks, FTSE 250 firms, IT Consultancies and investment banks. You will be responsible for finding and talking to a range of candidates and discovering their strengths and weaknesses. You will also be required to get a feel for the future trends in the market as well as current employment situations at a range of companies. You will develop and manage your own portfolio of clients.
Typical positions that you will be headhunting for range from IT Project Managers, Development and Infrastructure/Support roles, to Traders, Quantitative Analysts, Structuring, Sales and other high-level Finance positions (across all product areas).
Essential Skills/Criteria to include:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (well spoken, highly articulate, friendly and polite).
* Microsoft Word and database literate
* Able to work using own initiative.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Previous data administration experience a definite advantage.
* Professional and responsible attitude.
The ideal candidate will be a well-presented person with an excellent telephone manner, computer literate and able to work using their own initiative.
Education/Qualification required:
* Educated degree level or graduate calibre.
Salary & benefits:
A basic salary of £16K - £26K plus associated commission structures. No threshold or ceiling on earnings with commission of up to 40%. An OTE of £50K+ in the 1st year and a £6 Figure income thereafter, plus a variety of incentive schemes.
