Position Description
- Work with traders to generate and implement trade ideas;
- Assist with trade preparation and performance analysis;
- Conduct statistical analysis of trading strategies;
- Deploy trading technology to provide tactical solutions for trading desk;
- Develop tools to gap short term trading needs and long term technology solutions.
Skills Required
- Proven experience developing robust analytical and or trading applications using related technologies such as C++, C#, Perl, Matlab, and R;
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as mathematics, computer science, physics, or engineering;
- Understanding of basic equity business and trading technologies;
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skill;
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment;
- Team-oriented and highly resourceful;
- Entrepreneurial drive.
Skills Desired
- Understanding various market data a plus.
- Familiarity with infrastructure a plus but not absolute
