Anson McCade are a leading recruitment and transformation consultancy, working in partnership with a global client delivering major technology transformation programmes across infrastructure, applications, payments, and enterprise IT services.

We are currently seeking a Solution Designer to join a dynamic, high-performing team focused on delivering innovative, secure, and scalable IT solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape systems architecture and influence end-to-end technical delivery in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment.

As a Solution Designer, you will:

  • Define systems architecture for complex projects, developing architecture roadmaps across multiple interrelated platforms.

  • Translate business requirements into clear, practical technical specifications that align with enterprise technology strategies.

  • Lead and guide delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle, providing high-level architecture oversight.

  • Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to ensure solutions meet both business needs and technical standards.

  • Ensure designs support scalability, integration, performance, and security objectives.

  • Maintain deep domain knowledge in IT systems, infrastructure, and integration methodologies.

A successful Solution Designer will have:

  • Proven experience designing IT solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements.

  • Strong understanding of systems integration, enterprise security principles, and scalable architecture.

  • Experience delivering successful technology projects across the SDLC.

  • Proficiency in design tools and methodologies, along with excellent documentation skills.

  • Exceptional communication and technical leadership capabilities.

  • Domain expertise in payments, with solid background in payment systems integration.

Desired Experience Includes:

  • Leadership across large or strategic technology projects.

  • Hands-on experience with scheme payments (e.g. Mastercard, Visa).
