Anson McCade is working with a major digital transformation consultancy to grow their Delivery Leadership team. We're looking for a Principal Delivery Manager to lead high-value, complex digital programmes across national organisations—shaping the future of how care is delivered through modern technology.
This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll oversee large-scale delivery engagements, own budgets, and lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, design, and product. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident influencing senior stakeholders, and is passionate about delivering real-world impact in.
As a Principal Delivery Manager, you will:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation programmes
• Own multi-million-pound budgets and ensure delivery aligns to time, cost, and outcome expectations
• Set up and maintain robust governance frameworks across multiple engagements
• Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product specialists
• Build relationships at Director and CxO-level
• Contribute to account strategy and business development, identifying growth opportunities
• Shape and support the development of compelling bid responses and proposals
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within delivery teams
• Coach, mentor, and develop individuals across the Delivery capability
You’ll bring:
• 7+ years of experience delivering complex Agile programmes in the public sector and/or healthcare
• Strong background in leading multi-disciplinary teams across tech, design, and product
• Proven track record of managing high-value programmes end-to-end, from scope to delivery
• Experience building and maintaining effective governance structures
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience owning budgets and forecasting
• Excellent client-facing skills – comfortable working at C-suite level
• A consultative, outcome-focused mindset and ability to lead in complex environments
• Experience shaping and contributing to public sector bids and proposals
Desirable:
• Experience working with national healthcare organisations
• Involvement in thought leadership – industry speaking, blogging, or publishing content
• Experience shaping service offerings based on real-world delivery insight
• Recognised Agile or Programme Management certifications (Scrum, MSP, SAFe, etc.)
Salary & Package:
• Up to £120,000 base salary
