We’re partnering with a global technology services organisation that is scaling its UK-based delivery team to support a growing pipeline of large-scale transformation programmes. We're looking for a Technical Delivery Manager with a strong software/applications background to lead complex, multi-workstream projects across various sectors.

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who understands the intricacies of software delivery, has experience with cloud or platform migration, and can drive outcomes across both technical and business functions.

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate complex technical projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Oversee delivery of application and software-driven initiatives from inception through execution.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business leaders to ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives.

  • Manage risks, resources, and timelines across several workstreams and integrated platforms.

  • Provide governance and reporting, ensuring alignment with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Act as the escalation point for delivery issues and dependencies across projects and clients.

A successful Technical Delivery Manager will have:

  • A software or applications development background, ideally progressing into delivery leadership.

  • Proven experience managing multi-workstream technical projects, particularly involving cloud or large-scale migrations.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.

  • A track record of delivering high-value transformation projects within enterprise environments.

  • An ability to bring structure to ambiguity, align technical teams, and drive results in fast-paced delivery environments.

Preferred Experience:

  • Cloud migration (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on-prem to cloud application replatforming.

  • Previous work in consulting or delivery-focused organisations (e.g. Accenture, Capgemini, IBM, etc.).

  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management, DevOps, and continuous delivery practices.

  • Familiarity with delivery frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, or PMP/Prince2 methodologies.
