Role Requirements:

  • Lead project teams delivering data science solutions across defence and national security.

  • Define technical strategy and ensure best practices in software architecture.

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to shape client engagements and project scope.

  • Mentor junior data scientists and support their professional development.

  • Contribute to thought leadership via training, conferences, and open-source contributions.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Data Scientist or in a quantitative academic field.

  • Proficient in Python and core data science libraries (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn).

  • Familiarity with deep learning tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

  • Strong grasp of machine learning, statistics, APIs, and database querying (SQL).

  • Proven leadership as a Data Scientist, managing teams and fostering a collaborative, mentoring culture.
