Graduate to Lead Levels
Join a team solving real-world problems through innovative software.
We’re building something exceptional in the heart of Newcastle — a technology team focused on tackling high-impact, complex challenges with cutting-edge solutions. From recent graduates to seasoned leads, we’re hiring across all levels of experience for passionate software developers who want to make a real difference.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where intellectual curiosity is encouraged, and excellence is the standard. If you enjoy working on technically demanding projects that push your thinking — and you're motivated by the opportunity to build, learn, and grow — this could be the right place for you.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for smart, driven individuals who are great communicators and even better problem solvers. You'll thrive here if you're curious, collaborative, and take pride in delivering real value through technology.
All candidates must have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a closely related discipline from a top-tier university.
This typically means a 2:1 or above from a leading UK institution — such as those within the Russell Group (e.g., Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Edinburgh, Manchester, King’s College London, Bristol, Glasgow, Warwick).
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Candidates must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Core Responsibilities
-
Take ownership of technical projects and collaborate closely with business users
-
Design and build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
-
Understand the bigger picture and apply critical thinking to uncover true business needs
-
Challenge the status quo and explore new technologies and approaches
-
Contribute to a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
-
Proficiency in C#/.NET, or another object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python
-
Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS preferred)
-
Strong problem-solving skills and an appetite for tackling challenging technical work
-
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership from concept through to delivery
-
Excellent communication skills and an interest in working directly with business stakeholders
-
A desire to understand how your work connects to real-world outcomes
-
Experience in financial services is a bonus, but not required
Why Join Us?
-
Have real impact from day one — we trust our developers to take initiative and own outcomes
-
Collaborate with exceptional people on work that’s dynamic, meaningful, and often closely tied to global events
-
Grow rapidly — learn how financial markets work, build your domain knowledge, and develop leadership skills
-
Shape our culture — we’re early in our journey and every voice matters
-
Thrive in our Newcastle HQ — a vibrant, supportive environment where we work together to do our best work
If you're excited by solving hard problems, working with great people, and building the future of technology in the North East, we’d love to hear from you.
