We’re seeking experienced Software Engineers to join a growing team working on innovative projects that have a real impact. This is an opportunity to work on complex technical challenges, contribute to cloud-based solutions, and support critical systems within a secure environment.
What you’ll do:

Design, develop, test, and document high-quality software solutions.

Build and maintain applications with a focus on AWS Cloud infrastructure.

Analyse code defects and deliver timely fixes.

Provide accurate estimates of development effort and contribute to planning.

Work on data processing solutions and scalable architectures.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver effective solutions.
What we’re looking for:

Strong experience with back-end programming (Java essential; C++, Python, Node.js, or C desirable).

Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud-native development.

Understanding of microservices, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern engineering practices.

Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver secure, scalable systems.

Experience of working within Agile teams and contributing to continuous improvement.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge effectively.
Desirable:

Exposure to other cloud platforms, DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with security practices and secure software development.

Previous experience working in a secure or national security environment.
