We’re seeking experienced Software Engineers to join a growing team working on innovative projects that have a real impact. This is an opportunity to work on complex technical challenges, contribute to cloud-based solutions, and support critical systems within a secure environment.


What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, test, and document high-quality software solutions.

  • Build and maintain applications with a focus on AWS Cloud infrastructure.

  • Analyse code defects and deliver timely fixes.

  • Provide accurate estimates of development effort and contribute to planning.

  • Work on data processing solutions and scalable architectures.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver effective solutions.


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience with back-end programming (Java essential; C++, Python, Node.js, or C desirable).

  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud-native development.

  • Understanding of microservices, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern engineering practices.

  • Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver secure, scalable systems.

  • Experience of working within Agile teams and contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge effectively.


Desirable:

  • Exposure to other cloud platforms, DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with security practices and secure software development.

  • Previous experience working in a secure or national security environment.
