About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our growing team. This client-facing role involves working closely with sales and delivery teams to scope, design, and present solutions that help organisations modernise and transform their applications.

You will engage with clients at senior levels, advising on application modernisation, cloud-native platforms, and digital engineering, while playing a key role in winning and shaping high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-sales solutioning process, from discovery and scoping through to solution design, proposals, and client presentations.

• Design and present solutions for application modernisation (for example, moving from 3-tier Java architectures or Oracle platforms to modern cloud-native platforms).

• Build propositions around cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP) and AI-enabled software engineering (AI in coding, automation, testing).

• Collaborate with sales, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and clearly differentiated.

• Influence senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a consulting or pre-sales environment.

• Strong software development background (Java, Oracle, cloud-native).

• Hands-on experience in application modernisation and migrating clients from legacy estates to modern platforms.

• Broad cloud expertise across Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Strong communication and presence, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and think on your feet.

• Experience delivering or integrating AI solutions within the software development lifecycle (desirable).
